Australian Health Society Limited (AHS) is governed by a Board at the national level with operational branches representing all states and territories.
The Board Directors are nominated and accepted at the organisation’s annual general meeting. They assume responsibility for the organisation’s governance and strategic direction and ensure it meets its constitutional requirements.
As a Company Limited by Guarantee, AHS must comply with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) requirements and those of the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).
